1/7: We have 2 birthdays this month.  Happy birthday to Mike Finnerty and Dan Baumgartner.  May you both have many returns.  Also a belated Happy New Year to everyone.  Here's hoping for a much better 2021 than 2020.

1/24:  Dan B. and Laurie went to the inauguration last week.  Guess who sat behind them.
2/10:  We have one birthday, and 2 anniversaries this month.  A happy birthday to Anne (Breglia) Tacoma, and may you have many returns.
Our anniversaries are Ted and Lou Ann Malozzi, and Nina (Wolfson) and Lou Meyer.  Happy anniversary to both couples.
Rose and I are on Tybee Island, GA for the month of February.  Talked to Mike Finnerty last night.  We are hoping to get together at some point this month.  Mike and Ethlyn are on Hilton Head, SC, and are going to be moving to Florida at some point in the near future.

3/3: We have two birthdays this month:  Nina (Wolfson) Meyer, and
Rosemary (Hadden) Decatur.  Happy birthday to both of you, and may you have many returns.

3/5:  Received an email from Jim Yager today.  He informed me that his brother,
Bill Yager, passed away on January 7th.  Bill graduated 2 years before us, and I'm sure many of you remember him.  Condolences to his family and friends.

3/10:  Have had a few inquiries about the possibility of a reunion this summer - after all, it is the 60th!  By August, it's possible that most of us will have had our vaccination(s) + 2 weeks, so we should all be fully protected.  Any ideas? Let me know.  r.decatur43@gmail.com.  Look forward to hearing from you.

4/10:  I'm behind again.  We have just one birthday this month.  Valerie (Hart) Esterly turns 39 this month.  Happy birthday, Valerie, and many returns.
Rose and I are pleased that we were able to get both of our vaccinations last month, and as of yesterday, we are now fully immunized.  Hope the rest of you are in the same situation.  I haven't done much about the reunion yet, as the response from people has been rather sparse.  Will try to get something going soon, and keep you up-to-date as things develop.

5/2:  For the month of May, we have two birthdays.  John Roger, and Kathy (Scanlon) Smith will be celebrating birthdays.  Happy birthday to both of you, and may you have many returns.
And, to all of you mothers, an early Happy Mother's Day!

6/4:  This month we have 3  anniversaries, and 3 birthdays being celebrated.  The birthday folks are Leah (Knapp) McIntyre, Joe Mantovi, and Betty (Castegner) Montgomery.  Happy birthday to each of you, and many returns.
Celebrating anniversaries are Charlie and Sandy Van Riper, Mike and Ethlyn Finnerty, and Charlie and Linda Patterson.  Congrats, and may you enjoy many more to come.

6/9:  I've sent emails out with regards to our upcoming 60th reunion, but I've had quite a few emails which were unable to send.  I'm assuming people have changed their address, and neglected to tell me, so I've lost contact.  If you are one of these people, please send me your address.  Send to:
     R.decatur43@gmail.com
We now have a date, time, and place.  It will be on August 21st, at Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac at 5:00 p.m.  We would also like to know how many would be interested in going to the Historical Society, and also be interested in touring the lake in a pontoon boat.  You can get back to me at the email address above.  We also heard from Susan Brady Mauldin, that she and her sisters have a room reserved at Four Brothers for 1:00 on June 19th.  If any of you will be around the area, we have been invited to attend that as well.

7/3:  Happy 4th!  We have 3 birthdays this month.  Happy birthday to Pat (Comer)
Mesa, and to our twins, Joan and Judy.  May you have many happy returns!

8/3:  It's August already, and the summer is flying by.  We have one anniversary, and 3 birthdays this month.  Happy anniversary to John and Sue Roger. Hope you enjoy many more in the future.  Celebrating birthdays are Charlie Patterson, Rosemarie (Blissard) Sarli, and Dan Schaiewitz.  Happy birthday, and many returns.
We are looking forward to seeing as many as possible at the reunion in about
3 weeks.  Stay covid free everyone.

8/6:  For those of you who are going to attend the reunion, the Town Historical Society Museum will be open from 1:30 - 3:00 on Saturday.  You might remember that it is located in the old town hall which was down the hill from our old school, across the street from Mike Finnerty's old house.  If you are really lucky, you may get to see Tony Defrancesco's wrestling tights from back in the day.
