10/13:  For any of you who are in the area, or will be in the area -  Leah and Jim McIntyre are organizing a Class of '61 Christmas get-together for Wednesday, December 14 at the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theater in Elmsford, NY.  It will be a matinee performance of a Christmas musical.  For $90.00/person, we will have a luxury box which seats up to 20 people.  The $90.00 includes all fees, gratuities, hors d'oeuvres, and soft drinks.  Drinks from the bar are not included.  If you are interested, contact Leah by email (leah4302@yahoo.com), or by phone - (914) 245-4302.  As there are limited luxury boxes, let Leah know ASAP if you are interested.  Check out their website @  www.broadwaytheatre.com  for more information. 
 
 

10/13:  Just learned today, Dan Schaiewitz's "Frame Ups" will appear on QVC between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m on Friday, October 21.  If you need any cards for the upcoming holiday season, you might find something here.  Good luck, Dan.

11/1: OK, it's final.  Ace Schaiewitz's "Pop-ups" will air on QVC tomorrow (11/2) between 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.  Be there!
11/2: Rose and I went down to the 9/11 Memorial.  I was able to get reservations through the website on 9/12.  Was pretty crowded, but was just something  I had to see.

The Survivor Tree - There are 120 Swamp White Oaks in the memorial, and this Callery Pear
which was the only tree to survive the destruction.
Of course, to get to the memorial's entrance, it's hard to avoid Zuccotti Park and "Occupy Wall Street" crowd.
