October 10:  I received information that Laurie (Scanlon) Sterlacci passed away this past Sunday, October 7.  Laurie was in the class of 1960, and most of you probably remember her.  She was Kathy (Scanlon) Smith's sister.  Those of you who attended our 50th got to see Kathy.  Some of us also got to see Laurie in our get-together at Umberto's in Poughkeepsie last December. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Nov. 2:  It's been a while since posting anything.  We've been busy, and then most recently, "Sandy."  We feel very fortunate to not have suffered any damage, and only the inconvenience of losing power for 3 days.  Seeing the pictures on TV really brings home the devastation, and lingering problems caused by the storm.  I don't think we have anybody in the class residing in the worst hit areas, but for a few, normal life will not return for a while.

Nov. 8:  Sad to report that Rose was talking to Anita, and learned that Pauline Mulder passed away this past September.  Pauline was in our class through our sophomore year.
Also, Nilda Schaiewitz had surgery last Friday.  Dan reports that she came through fine, and is recuperating at home.

Nov. 13:  Don't know if any of you are Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons fans, but Rose and I went to a concert @ Mohegan Sun this past weekend.  He was GREAT!   He's 78 years old, and his voice is still there.  If you ever get a chance to see him near you, go for it !  You won't be sorry.

Also, I received a series of pics today from Ace Schaiewitz.  They were from our last bike ride on Sept. 20th.  Don't know why it took him so long to send them, but I've given up trying to understand, or explain him.

                                                  It started out as a "normal day" . . . . . . . . .
Then, ended up at the "Yard House,"  followed up with a Cuban Restaurant (name escapes me).
                                                      Compliments of the Yard House
Rose's and my intro to Cuban fare.
Just found out this evening - Grace (Bayer) Schiavone passed away this morning.  I'm sure most of you remember Grace.  She was in the class of '60.  I don't know any of the details.  Rose learned of this through Facebook.  We saw Grace this past summer at a reunion of the class of 1960.

Nov. 14:  Heard from Susan (Brady) Mauldin this morning.  Info for Grace:

Mass to be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at 11:00 a.m.  St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac.
